"The program of doctoral counseling psychology at Springfield College has been great thus far. The faculty and staff within the program are very helpful and assist students in figuring out career goals and research interests. The program is fairly small making professors more accessible. I feel that students in the program are helpful towards one another and less competitive than other programs I applied to. I would say the only con I see in the program is it's diversity. A program representative of the society we live in will be helpful in address social justice and diversity. The program is very aware of it's demographic and constantly working towards outreach and other strategies to market it."

"The pros of my school graduate program are that the classes are smaller. This provides more support from faculty and a deeper connection with all staff and students."

"The faculty and staff are very accessible and supportive, and the environment is welcoming, encouraging, and motivating. The School of Social Work helps students to pinpoint their career goals through course work and field experience. Small class sizes allow for an interactive learning environment, and also allow students and teachers to know each other. The work is challenging and rewarding. Aside from tuition costs, which is a challenge in most college programs, the only con of this program is that there is not enough time to take all of the elective courses that are available - there are many!"

"The physical thearpy program at Springfield College is small and the classroom sizes are small, which makes interacting with the professors a good experience. The professors are extremely nice and very willing to help and accomodate as they are aware of the difficulty of the program. The professors have a wide range of interests and are very willing to talk with students to help further their interests in the study of physical therapy. Springfield College provides a wonderful learning environment and their clinical experience opportunties keeps students involved and excited to learn."

"Very time consuming with workload and internship hours. Expensive with not too many financial aid opportunities however the education is worth it."

"Our program is very hands on. I have done a lot of fieldwork and site visits to help support what I learn in the classroom and boost my knowledge. I will be more prepared to enter the occupational therapy field."

"The graduate program is average but the surrounding areas and the city the school is located in is unsafe."

"I feel there are many pros to the graduate program I have chose to be a part of. First, the professors are extremely knowledgeable about what they teach. They are also willing to give extra help if a student needs it. The support I get from peers and faculty in this graduate program is very helpful. The graduate program I attend is very convenient. Classes are every other Saturday and Sunday. This allows me to work full time and be there for my kids when they need me. A con to this graduate program is that it is very expensive. I have taken out student loans and still I have a balance to pay off. This is very hard for someone such as myself, who works full time at a non-profit agency, has a family I need to help support and is only trying to better myself so that we no longer have to struggle to provide the necessities."

"I feel like my program director is very supportive and helpful. The classes are very expensive per credit more so than other programs in the area. I wasn't offered very much financial aid either."

"Pros: Faculty and staff are highly supportive and focus on helping students grow spiritually, mentally, and professionally. Convenient access to wellness center for physical fitness. Coursework is rigorous yet rewarding. Location makes it easily accessible for persons without out a personal vehicle and persons with a broken vehicle. :) Cons: The career center is minimally accessible to employed, weekend students. Grants and scholarships are not accessible, despite high academic and social merit."

"The people at Springfield College make this university wonderful. The school is small enough that the faculty develop personal relationships with the students and truly care about their professional and personal growth."

"The faculty is very accessible. Whenever you need them, they are there to help. The classes for the program are usually held in the afternoon in order to accommodate the schedules of working adults which is very nice. Overall the program is great and I encourage anyone who is thinking about pursuing a career in Rehabilitation Counseling to consider Springfield College!"

"The Springfield College provides superb faculty and technological support. The field experience maintains high expectations with coordinated coursework to enhance the experience. The surrounding area of the college is somewhat poor due to recent economic decline nationwide; however, campus safety is clearly a top priority. The price point is difficult as it increased during these poor economic times and there are no grant/scholarship options through the school itself."

"Supportive faculty. Nice facility. Ample free parki g. Not overly challenging. Workload manageable. Could be more challenging and faster paced. Faculty could do more to elicit student participation in classes. Most students too passive in classes IMO. Expensive program. Grade inflation. Not difficult to get As. Students supportive of each other."

"There are many pros to my graduate program at Springfield College. The professors are very knowledgeable and helpful when I need more information or support on assignments. The one con that I have is the lack of financial aid directly from the college."
