"I attended Cortland over 30 years ago, so obviously, things will have changed since then. At the time, I found relatively small classes. The professors seemed to take a sincere interest in the students and their success. The subjects were very relevant. Having the Masters degree definitely opened doorways to professional positions that I would not have been offered without the advanced degree."

"Pros: Great teachers, topics that will enhance your skill in the field, projects that get your mind on par with what you will need working in the outdoors. Cons: Make sure you find groups (non-traditional groups) to be apart of so that you aren't all alone. Most if not all graduate program classes start at 4 or 7pm so be ready to lose a lot of your free time during the week nights."

"The grad school program is very competitive and challenges student to do their best work. The professors are knowledgable and supportive. The building that holds grad classes needs upgrading and the classrooms are very uncomfortable with old chairs and desks. Overall the grad program is very successful."
