"I had an amazing experience at SUNY Potsdam! The instructors in the Psychology department are supportive, encouraging, and insightful. There were SO many opportunities to get involved on campus through internships, clubs and organizations, and work-study opportunities. I worked in the Career Planning office, the Counseling Center, and Campus Life during my undergrad and enjoyed every minute of it. There were many different leadership opportunities available to me - I took as many of them as possible! The friends and connections I made there will stay with me forever. I couldn't have asked for a better undergraduate experience!"

"The faculty were an amazing part of my education at The Crane School of Music. They were so dedicated to each student and helping them find their potential along the way. I am so thankful for my advisers in helping me find my passion and pushing me harder so I would be prepared for the real world."

"My studies in both the mathematics and physics programs have given me the ability to think critically and logically. Critical thinking provides me the tools to be able to factually question problems of any nature. Logically thinking provides me with the ability to think through issues and create solutions. Both of these have allowed me to progress through my career and bring value to my organizations. I have been able to prove myself through my actions and transition upward in an organization as well as transition into a completely different industry with ease. How the coursework was tought to me gave me the opportunity to succeed in a way that I was not expecting!"

"I appreciate the dedication that each of my professors have towards the success of my classmates and I, as well as the support that the Office of Graduate Studies offers to all graduate students. The small class size has made it possible for me to receive an extremely valuable education that I have already been able to apply to my various jobs and positions. The professors are extremely knowledgeable in the field and have each been active in influencing the performance improvement and educational technology fields nationwide. I love the practical approach and amount of hands-on work that is incorporated into the program because it provides me with opportunities to tailor my education to the ways in which I believe that organizational development will help me in my individual career track!"

"The pros of the program is the class size and support from the faculty. The graduate program is a serious level in a relaxed atmosphere. I also like the continued support after you graduate from the college. I look forward to completing the graduate degree program at SUNY Potsdam. The cons of the program are having to commute to the campus and already having a full-time job."

"I have just completed my first semester in the OPLT program and I am in awe at how much I learned and retained. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and demonstrate a passion for helping us develop the knowledge and skill base that we will need to succeed in the program and our future careers. So far, all of my courses have been discussion-based where my classmates and I are encouraged to participate in conversations based on the assigned readings as opposed to a typical lecture style course. The final projects from each of my courses have made me extremely proud and the amount of effort that is required to be put into the assignments have allowed me to finish the semester with a thorough understanding of the processes and information presented throughout the semester. I am interested in pursuing a career in higher education and student affairs and although this program is not specific to that career choice, I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in any related field."
