"I loved my time in Point and it was because of the people who were there. Between my classmates in the Athletic Training Program and the Professors pushing us to achieve our goals, I had a second family in Point. I also had the opportunity to work in the Residence Halls on campus and this gave me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many more individuals. Between the people I knew through athletic training and the individuals I meet in the residence halls, I can confidently say I knew over half of the Stevens Point family. This university is not just about getting you a degree but instead is full of people who want to see you succeed in what YOU want to succeed in. If you get into a program and realize it is not for you, they will do everything in their power to help you find the right fight for you and make it a seamless transition. My advisor was always in my corner and made sure that I was on track to complete my time in 4 years at Point."

"My college was great since I couldn't get into the main campus, UVA. It was easier to get into UVaWise and I felt it was still high caliber and a lot was asked of us in a good way. We just had less resources than the main campus. I wish I had instead taken core classes at community college and then transferred since those classes are not crucial to knowledge you need in your major."
