"Overall the school pretty good. I do feel as though the teach process needs to be better. More knowledge about the career needs to be explained make it more real. I personally do not feel like I have gotten any knowledge or learned much from much course."

"The campus is clean and some of the staff are nice. I enjoyed my time at UEI meeting new people. But there are some things at the school that needs to be worked out like staff attitudes. It worked out with my schedule and if i needed help i would be assisted. I have always been able to get assistance with career services who have always been there to help me with job assistance and resume building"

"My experience at the school has been amazing I do have a more complex field in medical billing and insurance coding but I have classmates willing to help if I need help outside of school. My instructor is always available and will answer any and all questions to the best of her ability. The school staff is welcoming and I like the fact that they encourage and motivate you from all aspects of the school meaning its not just instructors who care for you and want you to succeed. I enjoy attending and participating in my class."

"UEI College of Bakersfield did a great job with my program. My instructor was amazing and helped me to understand the learning topics. All of the administrative staff was very helpful and very professional. Overall I have no complaints about the campus or the program. If I had to do it again, I absolutely would, even though I felt I couldn’t."

"Overall my experience has been great. I like how the school finds instructors that have worked in that specific field. It gives us more knowledge and information on what to expect in the real-life profession. Personally, my instructor has been a great teacher. She has given us a lot of insights into what it is like working as a medical biller and insurance coding and what to expect."

"While my teacher was really good and knowledgeable, she lacked the resources and ability to Give us a good experience. The administration tells you what you want to hear to get you to sign. The hybrid learning is a joke. You end up just teaching yourself"

"I graduated from UEI in San Diego at the kearny mesa location which no longer exist. I recently contacted UEI since I NEVER received my diploma through the mail. Now I have to pay $30 for a copy. I was and have not been able to obtain employment in the field, neither have 99% of my classmates. This institution is a joke, all they do is collect your money and provide no help. Please DO NOT ATTEND UEI"

"This experience has been a waist of time, not to mention over $19,000.00. The material learned is basic and does not begin to qualify you for the field at all. The coding is touched upon but these courses does not get you certified at all. You will still end up working a front desk receptionist position. Which you can o tain without all the time and money waisted. It's a complete joke. They need to be shut down."

"This was the worst mistake in my life. The school harassed me during class for a payment, sent me to do my internship at a small clinic as a receptionist, (not a biller) I owe $15 thousand in Student loans, and 7 years later, I still dont have a job in that field. PLEASE DONT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL."

"I was enrolled into the medical and billing program and as usual they promised me a job and a education. I go to the encino campus, they use to be in van nuys but relocated. I regret ever signing up and enrolling. I was super depressed at the time and was having problems with my significant other , I thought I was going to end up alone with no financial support for me and my son. UEI came along and the councilor started sympathizing with me and I decided to go into the school so I can make money for me and my son. I am on my last week before I go to Externship. I don't even have a Externship and I have been looking for one by myself because my coordinator keeps placing me in far places like Los Angeles when she knows I have no transportation or any dollar to my name to pay for bus fare. She admittedly said if you don't go to any interview I set up for you, you can go find your own because I'm not. Letting you ruin my 100% of people placed into Externship. Not only that but my instructor is such a air head. When I first went into her class she promised so much and would brag about how much she would be making when she first entered the field. It was enticing and I studied super hard and she actually believed in us. She taught us more than entry level and about how to deal with corporate America. But ever since she enrolled to get her master's degree, she doesn't teach us anymore at all an instead yells at us every day. She starts saying you guys are more than entry level because of what you have learned but if u forget and don't study your worth minimum wage(which is true) but then she starts getting personal, she will bring you up and make you feel good then she'll say things like "what you guys do is baby work, I have to write essays and do this and that , I don't need any of you , I promise you I will get my master's degree and you all will be flabbergasted, I don't need any of you, in fact without me you'd be nothing, I don't care what's going on in your life I don't care about your excuses" then she makes us get up one by one to give her a excuse why some people didn't do hw or studied (even though you did study and did all your hw she would still make you point out flaws and make a excuse) all she does is yell at us everyday even if it's not about our class she will yell at us because some students from another class were smoking weed, and she. Doesn't keep anything about a student confidential. She will either talk about you in front of the entire class behind your back or when you are there about personal issues. And she really bugs you about your personal life and will call you and harrass you until you tell her something and she says she is there for you by then she says she doesn't care about our personal life? All she does is yell at us everyday now and makes us feel horrible about ourselves all because we don't have a master degree. She doesn't teach anymore just makes us feel bad everyday and I'm not the. Only student who feels that way. I regret enrolling and there is a lot of girls who are younger than me in my class and living with their parents who are only paying 13000 and less for tuition while I'm paying off 20,000 while trying to support my baby by myself ."
