"The University of Hawaii Maui College is a great school to earn your 2 year or 4 year degrees. I moved to Maui for the Sustainable Science Management B.A.S. program. My degree allows me to follow my passions and find niches in the field of sustainability science that most appeal to me. While in school I enjoyed small class sizes and a wide variety of teaching techniques. Small island settings like Maui are prime locations to study sustainability as the are very isolated from outside resources and impacts from changes are very quick to be noticed. Some of my favorite classes were renewable energy integration, conservation of endangered species, systems thinking and conflict resolution. I would recommend this school and degree to anyone."

"I returned back to college after 40 years to start another career. UH-Maui was very helpful in helping me navigate the morass of paperwork, meeting with counselors and finacial aid applications. I have completed 22 credits toward my dergree in Human Service and was even able to transfer 25 credits from Penn State Univ. from 1968-1970. After the fall 2014 semister, I have only five courses left to take before I receive my As degree in Human service, and two Certificates of Competence in Health Navigation and Human Service Worker. I plan to be a Health Navigator working with Diabetic patients so they can aciheve a healthy lifestlye."
