"Horrible University regarding the FNP MSN program. I attended this University as an undergrad and held a very high GPA and graduated with my BSN. I returned some years later to obtain my MSN-FNP and was flabbergasted by the horrendous lack of teaching (hybrid program) and continuous attempts by the school to continue pushing people through the program. After attending for a year and a half, I was 2 semesters away from graduating when I realized that there was no way I was prepared to be a provider. Even after meeting with the dean multiple times to express my concerns, I was merely responded with a, " I know your class is behind in preparation," yet nothing changed. The same teachers continued to "adjust" failing test scores and award points at random to continue passing people along. At the end of the pediatric final, some individuals received 20+ points back on the final exam! How is this an assessment of preparedness and knowledge? ANYONE LOOKING TO ATTEND THE FNP PROGRAM, LOOK ELSEWHERE. THIS PLACE WILL NOT PREPARE YOU, AND IT IS AN INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE PROGRAM!"

"Graduate Students at UMHB are well prepared educationally, exposed to multiple mindsets from the diverse classroom populations, and genuinely cared for by the professors. Professors at UMHB want their students to succeed not just academically but in life as well. After graduating from here I realized that the professors invest so much in you to ensure that you succeed once you have graduated. In the classroom I learned that all of my professors had outstanding experience in the field that they were teaching which helped me tremendously to learn from their first hand experiences. My time at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor was outstanding in all aspects. I highly recommend attending here."

"This program is faith centered, but very practical in the real world. The course work is relevant and challenging. The instructors are committed to the success of the program and the students. The faculty solicit input from the doctoral candidates for continuous improvement. The cost is a bit pricey, but the school offers scholarships to offset some of the costs. I could not be more pleased."
