"Notre Dame Law School was the best choice I ever made. Faculty and staff both make themselves available to students at all times. The alumni network is also incredible. Although the curriculum is difficult, it is absolutely worth it and it makes all graduates a different kind of lawyer."

"Very competitive and very heavy workload. Want to make sure my stars represent that."

"Pros: Excellent network and faculty who are invested in my long term academic and professional growth. Cons: grading curve makes grades arbitrary and makes some students competitive and makes even more students apathetic."

"NDLS is a great law school. It offers students a number of fantastic opportunities to grow as law students and to become effective and ethical attorneys. The atmosphere on campus is collegial, comforting, and overwhelmingly positive."

"Not super diverse, less networking than i would like on the west coast, but they are a midwest school so i guess i got what i deserved."

"The career services program is abysmal and enough to make me encourage anyone thinking of going to Notre Dame to think twice."

"The school has too many professors who are just collecting a pay check- emails go unanswered, classes are dull to the point of tears, and if you don't like football, don't even bother."

"The faculty is extremely helpful and for the most part always available to meet with the students to discuss both classroom related questions as well as job and networking counseling. The alumni are usually eager to be of assistance and are very useful when trying to break into a new geographical area. Notre Dame Law School has a nation wide presence and it is really helpful especially if you are not sure where you want to end up after graduation."

"Pros: less cut throat than other law programs, student support, and a good value for the education. Cons: if you aren't white, religious, heterosexual, and wealthy, you aren't gonna fit in here. Not much to do, except go to Chicago, or really awful bars in the area. South Bend is pretty garbage and the students in the law school are pretty boring."

"The school itself is a close knit legal community, and the campus is beautiful. The lack of social life around the area may be a boon to encouraging you to study."

"It is a highly challenging environment, however, there is ample support both from faculty and other students. The atmosphere of intense competition is not prevalent here and there seems to be a genuine sense that faculty just want to see us succeed. The drawbacks lie primarily in the high cost of tuition and living and the very narrowly limited range of activities to do off campus."
