"The University of Rochester provides an exciting and stimulating environment for those passionate about Chemistry or many of the other natural sciences. Further, it is employed by an incredibly welcoming group of chemistry facility. Overall, it is a great place to consider fro graduate study."

"Simon Students benefit from the small class sizes, diverse student and alumni network and access to knowledgeable professors. The MBA program offers a very heavy workload in very competitive classes but all that stress is worth it because of the high quality of education received. Cost of living in the Rochester area is low, rent is cheap but Rochester also has a high crime rate. The campus is very safe in spite of this. The career services center could stand to improve and is currently working on revamping its entire program. All in all my Simon experience has been amazing."

"I am in the Marriage and Family Therapy M.S. Program in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. The directors/professors of the program are so welcoming and understanding of all situations. They are willing to work with you to create the best learning environment available. They created a program that allows you to work with the students/doctors in the M.D. program in a collaborative way so you can broaden your knowledge about the medical field being integrated into therapy. The environment is perfect for learning and becoming the best therapist you can be for your clients. They give ample opportunities to observe, and receive clinical hours that go toward getting your license. The only con I have found about the program is that the financial aid department/bursar's office do not do well in communicating with you about the expenses you will need before coming into the program. However, I recommend this school to all who are interested in becoming MFT's."

"I believe that my graduate program will be a strong set up for my future career hopefully in the medical device industry. It is giving me the tools to become an effective device designer. I am getting first hand experience working with doctors, nurses, medical representatives, and other professionals. It will give me the tools to be effective in the work place when i graduate."

"It is a very competitive and well-respected program. The only down side of the program is the limited opportunity for full time studies in the masters programs. The program is designed for part time study for working professionals."

"Eastman provides an extremely comprehensive curriculum, excellent performance opportunities, and faculty members of the highest caliber. Although the funding available may not compete with other programs of a similar level, I think it was probably worth the investment."

"There are some amazing faculty and students there, and those connections can last a lifetime. Along with being an expensive school, I find the biggest issue is that so many students graduate and do not have much career support finding performance/teaching opportunities."

"The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry offers students a top tier education with access to invaluable professors, mentors and professionals in a variety of fields. However, these resources come with the academic intensity that one can only imagine until entering medical school. While the academic burdens, or expectations at times seem unrealistic they are fortunately complimented by a strong support network that will help you through so long as you are willing to put in the time and energy necessary."

"It really depends on who you choose as an advisor and what your work ethic is. Rochester is a great place because of the low cost of living, its urban atmosphere without feeling disconnected like NYC."

"I believe that my graduate program is a competitive, research focused program. I believe that the education and training that I am receiving here will be valuable in my experiences to come. However, I believe that some of the bench-mark sorts of requirements (entrance exams, cumulative exams) need to be reformatted to better reflect the overall goals of the program."

"Simon School is wonderful. The faculty are engaging and wonderful teachers. They push you to your limits and want you to hone your abilities in order to be the best that you can be. There are many student activities offered each quarter, the advisors are outstanding, the student population diverse, and the campus is beautiful. As for the cons? There is a great deal of work to do, but it's worth it."

"The Higher Education program at the University of Rochester is very challenging. However, there is an array of support from faculty, instructors, peers and other support staff. They assisted me through the application process and beyond. I would wholeheartedly refer the Warner School to anyone."
