"University of the Pacific Dugoni Dental school provides humanistic approach to its students. The school environment are very warm welcoming and there are great networking events for students and alums. It provides state of the art technology for students and the best patient care in the bay area. The only cons of the program is that it is located at san francisco where living expense are not friendly for students."

"The accelerated Pharmacy Program is something that makes University of the Pacific different from other schools. Having all the students use the same computer is also something I find both extremely innovative and helpful, it allows everyone to be on the same playing field. My only cons are the tuition costs, and the safety while being in Stockton. But University of the Pacific works very hard to try to protect our safety by having night shuttles till very late at night."

"The program is accelerated but manageable. Despite the less years in school, the students still graduate after having significant clinical experience that can put them at an advantage. The culture of the students and staff is generally close knit and supportive. Drawbacks to the program are the incredibly high cost of tuition and living in the area."

"I just completed my first year at Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and it was the best experience of my life. It was a lot of work, but that was to be expected. The faculty are amazing. They are all very knowledgeable about the subject they are teaching, and they are all approachable and willing to help if there is ever a question. Office hours were my greatest resource in my first year. The university staff are very student oriented and focused on ensuring that the students have the resources necessary. Everyone on campus is friendly, and the campus itself is welcoming. There are so many student organizations that its incredibly easy to get involved and stay connected to the school. The alumni network is expansive; it seems like every time I say I go to McGeorge, someone says, "Oh, I went there!" or "I know someone that went there!" The only downside of this campus is that the neighborhood is not the safest. However, campus security is everywhere, and I have never had a problem."

"The pros of the Graduate program at University of the Pacific are the small classroom sizes and a sense of community. The cons are the expensive Graduate tuition."

"McGeorge is a great law school. The faculty is engaged and the students are friendly. The only downside is the price of a private legal education."

"I love UOP so far! I have only finished one semester but I am absolutely loving. All of my class sizes are fairly small and my professors are very easy to approach. The program is extremely expensive but I think that the program is preparing me very well to be an excellent speech language pathologist. I definitely wish the school wasn't in Stockton and I could enjoy where I was living while I was in grad school but it helps me to remain focused on school at least."

"The program in which I am enrolled, the Master of Art in Intercultural Relations, is mostly distance with three separate short-term residency periods. I love the flexibility of taking care of my family and working part-time while studying. The downside of this is that the faculty and staff are "VERY" understanding and there are no "real" deadlines for assignments. We must motivate ourselves and reach out. This can be very difficult at time. All in all though, this program suits my needs and it is a rare find!!!"
