"There are many pro to my program at UW Bothell, such as the educational quality of UW. The campus is very close to the dorms, and because it is a newer school, the technology is very nice and most if it is free for student use. The cons would be cost of living in Seattle area and campus living."

"I believe my degree in Interactive Media Design will be worth the investment because it does a great job of teaching and preparing students for a career in the uprising field of computer programming. Multiple companies today are searching for young creative minds that carry strong knowledge of computer coding and experience with multiple types media design software. My degree covers everything from basic to complex computer software programming and allows students to apply for careers such as: Multi-Media Artists and Animators, Game Designers and Producers, App Development for Emerging Technologies, and Digital Arts and Media Production. The degree also introduces, to those who are enrolled, companies that have been hiring new graduates into the computer industry along with new large booming companies who are currently searching for the same thing. We are also given the opportunity to meet with employees sent from companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Boeing, with their intentions to introduce and hire students towards positions that their company is searching for. The employees also allow us students to provide them with resumes and portfolios of our work containing many different types of computer and media design projects that we have created throughout the degree. Today there are multiple companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Boeing that are looking for hire. Though those are only a few of many. Seattle already has multiple computer and video game companies and is still continuing to add to its collection. Recently, King 5 News did a report on a newer and growing video game company called Big Fish Games. In the report, they included that they are looking for hire and that this was only one company of very many. The Big Fish Games and the King 5 News report both compliment one another and just happen to show how big and fast companies in the computer industry are growing as well as how anxious they are for hire. With this degree, I will be able to apply to a large variety of computer industries who are all continuously expanding out and crave to employ new experienced and creative minds. With a degree in Interactive Media Design from one the top rated schools in the state (According the Seattle Times article) not only increases my chances of getting career in the computer industry, but shows industries that I have exactly what they are looking for. Because of the skills and lessons that are obtained from this degree and the expanding industries it directs its students towards, I strongly believe this degree will be well worth the investment."

"I am just starting my third year, and have officially been accepted into the business program. The pros would be experience, knowledge, and most importantly, the opportunities one can get after getting a degree. The cons are time, heavy workloads, and stress. However, the pros outweigh the cons by a long shot in my eyes so I am excited to complete my next two years and get my degree in business management."

"This school has a very safe and friendly atmosphere and is located in a quite, beautiful town. The classes are small enough for the professors to know who you are and be able to help whenever you need it. The tuition is also reasonable. The cons of the school is that the financial aid office is not very helpful and that the cost for parking is VERY expensive. Overall I would give this school a nine out of ten."

"My program is extremely fast paced and challenging. As I learn things I have never known before and gained lots of new experiences on campus, I am really pleased. The support from teachers is amazing and the only cons I'd leave is the work load and the amount time spent on homework."

"I am currently in the LEDE program studying instructional leadership to obtain my administrative credentials. I appreciate that the program is tied so closely to what I am already doing as a teacher leader. I am able to apply the work I am doing in my "day" job as I shift my thinking to principal leadership. The faculty are knowledgeable about both theory and practice."

"My graduate program is providing me the ability to teach at a high level in secondary education with a refocusing and emphasis on common core material. It is all-encompassing, taking all sides of arguments about school compositions into account and providing readings that touch or current debate within the educational community."

"Pro: you are in a "cohort" for two years so you build very strong and supportive bonds with your peers. Very intelligent teachers who are always supportive of your endeavors. Cons: Non identified."

"The MN program is part-time, allowing me to continue to work as an oncology nurse and nursing teacher. It is advantageous to have a flexible school schedule so that I can work to pay for school out of pocket. One challenge of the program is that the program is being developed this year, some classes are being combined and other classes are being added. Because I will have progressed by this time, I won't have the benefit of those additional classes required by the accreditation agency."

"Registering for electives is challenging and taking anything outside the program is difficult, at best, but .... overall, it's a good program with excellent value for the price paid. As an added bonus, the Career Services staff is top-notch."

"The faculty are all incredibly knowledgable and approachable. The curriculum is amazingly expansive, contemporary and customizable. The other students come from a wide variety of experiences and writing styles, which leads to a very eye-opening classroom. On the other hand, there is not currently any guaranteed funding or financial aid, though they try to support students in finding scholarships and jobs if asked."

"I really enjoyed taking courses in the Interdisciplinary Arts program at the University of Washington Bothell. The best part about this program is the flexibility in course schedule and the variety of course I could choose from. The professors all had high credentials and were easy to communicate with. This program is very broad though, and it doesn't just focus on educating on one certain skill; it does not lean towards one type of career. "

"The pros of the program would be we don't have that much graduate students here, so the advisors are easy to find, and willing to spend more time on each student, this give us a lot of advantages when we facing some problems that we can't solve. The cons would be the campus is a little small, don't have much place for students to have meal or something, the entertainment part is missing."
