"I transferred from UNLV to Dixie State for my junior year of college. It was the best decision I could have made because of how affordable and community oriented this school is. Not only did I have tiny class sizes but DSU is a teaching based institution. Their professors solely focused on teaching their students and being their mentors. I was able to take my GPA from a 2.90 to a 3.48 because of how compatible their curriculum is with my learning abilities. Dixie State is located in Saint George, Utah which is only 2 hours away from my home in Las Vegas. My family was very thrilled with the short distance they needed to travel. I could also go home at anytime because of how close DSU was. I walked away debt free from DSU and I promise the majority of the students do here; It is very affordable."

"As an undergraduate student at Dixie State, I had a great experience. I felt that my professors were very accessible. They were both responsive in emails, and helpful in person during office hours. I appreciated the small class sizes throughout my degree. And I loved the extracurriculars offered on campus! However, I did not like some of the adjunct professors. They werent very well prepared or equipped to handle teaching a college course. But despite that, I would absolutely recommend Dixie State to someone considering it."

"The thing I loved the most about Dixie was the individual attention I received from the administration while planning my degree. I am a transfer student from Liberty University Online Business school, so my transfer to an Exercise Science program was complicated to say the least. I also wanted my curriculum to allow me to be eligible for Med school at Ponce in Puerto Rico. The administration at Dixie was incredibly helpful in allowing me to do fit everything in."

"Every class is focused on a hands-on pedagogy, rather than the typical lecture from the professor and read from a textbook. The program is specifically designed to give students the upper hand upon graduation. They are taught towards and encouraged to sit for the CMA exam, they are taught and receive a QuickBooks Specialist certification, and use a variety of the top ranked accounting programs in the nation. Graduating from Dixie State University will prepare anyone for really life situations, rather than just being a know-it-all bookworm."

"Dixie State University is a great institution. The biggest problem I have had with Dixie State University is the "name" many schools and employers assume that Dixie State university is in the south of the united states when it is actually in Southern Utah. Either way it got me to graduate school :)"

"Great weather, nice people, and a small university so it is very easy to get the help you need. The psychology program was very enjoyable and gave me skills that I probably couldn't have received at a larger university. Dixie State was the best. Go Trailblazers!"
