"The classes were great. However, despite turning in a notarized statement and a picture of me holding my ID, then doing a 3 hr phone review while on vacation on Valentine's Day I was told they could not verify my identity, after attending a few sessions already because my roommate signed up and I let him borrow my laptop. They refused to process anymore financial aid for me or sebd an official transcript to the college i applied to after"

"I hate Walden Refund policy most colleges now have Bank mobile but, not them they take your money then wait a whole week before they even decide to give it to you and then. Most colleges once the school disburses the money you get your money the same day not them you have to wait."

"I just started at Walden University, and I think it has been a great school. My professors engage in everything we do. If I have any problems, they will email me to make sure everything is ok. Also, my advisor calls me every week. To me, this is the motivation I need to succeed in my business administration and management degree. I am a procrastinator and like to wait until the last minute. But I am getting better with my time management, and other skills needed. Sometimes I need help in certain areas, so I ask for help. They have always been there for me, so it is my duty as a student to be there for them and do my best in everything. Good luck to all that are still in school, or everyone that has graduated. May all your dreams come true."

"DO NOT GO HERE!!! -1) The website that you depend on is absolutely deplorable. Most of the time the links will pop up with HTML code and you are left with no choice but to call for help. -1) Calling anyone for help will most likely leave you with more questions and angry. Do not expect to connect with anyone having good customer service skills. -1) You will be thrown to the wolves. Orientation is a joke, but not a good joke. If this is your first time going to online school you will spend your first course constantly begging for guidance from your instructor on how to use the site, submit homework, find pertinent information etc.. -1) If this were any other business you would not be satisfied. School is a business. They take your money and provide a service. For the money they are taking you are getting screwed as a customer. The lack of knowledge and customer service within the recruitment and academic team is enough to ruin their reputation. They have the mentality that because they have been doing this for years that newcomers are expected to be on the same level of skill. This points back to a clear inability to educate. -1) There is no "flow" in your courses. You will bounce and tab back and forth trying to make sense of what you are supposed to do next. Do NOT fall for the quick talking, ever-so-kind and accommodating recruiter. Their job is to get your money. You and your education mean nothing to them. If you fail, they get paid regardless."

"Walden offers a program for working individuals without sacrificing a higher standard. I am very please with my experience, and my employer has noticed the difference in aptitude Walden provides. I highly recommend! Walden is unlike other online colleges - not a paper mill - instead Walden is a true leader in the field! I am very please with my decision to invest in this institution!"

"I felt compelled to write a review because I am shocked at the negative reviews. I have had a very positive experience since enrolling last summer. I transferred from a community college where, even though I was taking online courses, I was struggling. The format of Waldens program (taking one class at a time) makes it SO much easier on me since I work full time. I have had different experiences with professors, some lenient and some more challenging, but that can happen at any school. I do feel that I have been able to apply things that I have learned in my current career. I have never had an issue reaching someone when I've needed them, instructors, financial aid, advising.. I don't understand the reviews saying that there is a lack of communication when support is there 24/7? I'd also like to point out that the people who withdrawal and then write a terrible review about getting a bill... Every school has withdrawal policies. I've withdrawn from classes during the first week and never had an issue because I know that's the policy. I do believe that there is a misconception that online schools are "easy" and I think they can be (in the sense that it's convenient).. But I think a lot of people enroll and then don't have the self discipline to finish their work (and this is for every school, not just the two I've attended). Anyway, I have enjoyed the past 14 months with Walden, and I don't see why I wouldn't stay for my masters degree. The tuition is SO much lower than some of these other colleges too! Phoenix was almost $20,000 more and Kaplan was even higher than that."
