"It is my fault in the first lace for letting myself get into so much debt. My principal is 50k and everytime I look at it, it's like a stabbing pain on my chest and a headache. First of all I graduated a Masteral Program in which I have not learned much anything at all. It is more like a self taught program, everything was just reading and purely essays. I just jumble everything and all I know is that whoever is behind those grades made me look good with a 3.42 GPA without testing my knowledge as a form of approving the given grade. Long story short... I only paid for the usage of the website (online based classroom) and no affiliation to any of the hospitals in San Antonio to attend my internship and mostly it felt nothing after graduating but a paper. I am shifting my interests and hopefully in the long run, this transcript can jumpstart a better entry level pay... I am sad for all the graduates out there and the debt problem after collecting the transcript."

"I loved the school. My program was challenging and exciting. It was a great learning experience for me, but what made me happiest was that it fit with my schedule and allowed me to pursue other things as well as even earn an associate in nursing at a school in my hometown as my third degree while still keeping up with all my classes at both schools. My one pet peeve with the school was that I really wish there was more financial aid available. But over all I am very happy with the school."

"Walden University is a professional university filled with nurses, doctors and others seeking extra degrees. Even though my field was running an assisted living home, I was treated as deserving student along with the other students. The content is fun, the professors are understanding of working while going to school, and the black board is easy to navigate."

"Initially, the program its self was good. The communication with the professors and students was always professional and effective. After the various changes within the program via new program director took over the program is disorganized, the students concerns go unheard and overall the student is devalued. The quality of the education within the program has gone down as well. Instructors allowed to threaten student via falsify grades; the program director is unreliable in that she permits such un professional behavior by not actively resolving the issues within the program. Overall, this porgram is a reflection of the the lack of advocacy, compassion , and higher quality learning that is adverstized to its student populace. I strongly advise that anyone desiring to attend this academic institution please look else where. This university does not advocate for its students interest to pursure higher education rather the objective of the university is self preservation and fiancial gain."

"I only deal with them because I am a U.S. Resident/Caribbean Medical Student. I don't have many issues with the scholarly aspects/instructors of the courses. My issues lie in their other staff. As a Caribbean Medical Student I should have received 25% off my entire 2 year tuition. I didn't realize I didn't receive it until my last course in the program. Well, no one has contacted me and it has been over 2 months of contacting almost every department there, bursar, financial aid, academic advising, enrollment advising, ombuds office, etc., they just refuse to address the issue. So silly me, I began a second program with them, won't be for too long either, because after that situation and now what they've recently done to me. They put my course start date as 08/28/17, when my class actually began 09/05/17, which flagged my account for non-participation and held up my financial aid disbursement and subsequently my refund. Now, my refund wait period is now a week late. They refuse to expedite my refund even though it was clearly an error on their part. The lady I was speaking with regarding the issue, put me on "hold", so I was "holding" for a few minutes while she went to speak with her supervisor, when they disconnected the call, basically hung up on me. So if you run into problems at this school just know you'll have zero help"

"The program was very Impressive, however, I had the worst academic advisor in my graduate program. Even though I did not want to talk about it, but just to mention so that no one else suffers the same abandonment that I went through. Due to that experience, I am afraid of going through same if I embark on my doctorate degree program. Doctorate program is not a program the student should be left alone like she did in my graduate program; as a result of that, I am seeking for a second opinion if I should continue with Walden university in pursue of my doctorate."

"My experience with the school has been stellar. I've been working on my Clinical Research Administration degree for a little over a year at this point. I found the classwork to be useful for understanding my everyday work in my field. It adds a layer of understanding and foresight into my work at a Contract Research Organization. Looking over the reviews here, there seems to be a relation between the programs of which they're critiquing and the rating - perhaps there is something there. In my program, I've had some good professors and I've had great professors. I've learned that they'll personally interact with me as much or as little as necessary. The coursework can be challenging or it could be easy - it really depends on the week. As much as I'd like to say "well this is participation credit and I'm not earning my way there," I remember the weeks of class during my undergraduate degree when I was doing absolutely nothing but showing up. Perhaps it's an online interpretation of that? I found the classes to be moderately rigorous requiring me to consistently reach into the medical journals to find some real world applications of the work we are researching that week."

"Classes are ok but calling Walden University to resolve issues can take hours. Also tuition was to include books and materials. My last class they decided they were not going to cover the cost of books. It cost an additional $150.00 for books for my last class. I will not be going back to Walden."
