I regret taking out loans to be in this program for OT. The worst part is, most of the courses do not transfer to other OT programs. I wanted to leave so badly. I felt stuck in the program and I can not believe how expensive and unorganized it is. Students also have to make up for the faculties lack of organization and lack of communication by going out of their way to facilitate communication for facility. The patients literally didn't want to work with students, so we just sat in the waiting room at the clinic we were assigned to. The patients at this clinic were very unmotivated because they did not know what occupational therapy could offer them. None of the patients were at the clinic for occupational therapy services and no occupational therapists even worked at the clinic. When I brought these concerns to faculty, I was not listened to. Some of the faculty did not take any accountability and as a result did not take action to make improve the program.

I would not recommend this school or program for OT. For the amount of money, time, and dedication you spend attending a graduate program, there is no organization or communication. This is both with the program and the school itself. Higher-level management will not take responsibility for their actions (or lack of). Read More and grading on assignments would take up to the end of the semester and students had a hard time understanding where they stood in the classroom. Yet, as a graduate student are held up to a high standard but staff (not all but some) will not take accountability. University and program feedback was always asked for but never improved upon and sometimes you'd be reprimanded for doing so. I attended and graduated from this school for 2.5 years and I was never notified that they did not have my undergraduate degree on record until after I was done with my coursework. This cost me over $50+ for their lack of communication and direction from the registrar's office. The small classes were the only bonus of this university and there are a few staff members who truly care about your learning.
