I absolutely loved attending ECSU! I loved the small class sizes and the fact that my professors knew me by name and would check on me when I was not doing well. Even the Dean over my program knew me by name and would ask about specific areas of my life. Classes were mostly in-person which is how I learn best. I would absolutely attend the same university all over again.
I attended Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) for my undergraduate studies because it was important to me to attend a university that had students and faculty who come from similar backgrounds and circumstances, and who have had similar cultural experiences as myself. It was also equally important to be at an institution that embodied an atmosphere of community and collaboration among the student body, professors, and faculty.
