I am a Speech at Emerson student on the 9-term track, and if I could go back in time, I would have never applied or attended this school. Their placement isn’t the best. I had a horrible experience. Their immersion meeting is a waste of money and time; it could’ve been through zoom, just like their live sessions. The placement specialists won’t share information as they search for your placements the most they say is “I have a warm lead” (whatever that means). My placement specialist had poor communication with my site resulting in a very angry email from my supervisor and I then was not provided assistance with the matter at hand and had to resolve the issue on my own. The concept of online is amazing but, overall the program needs work. In my experience I am not being treated appropriately for the amount of money it cost to attend this institution. I do not recommend look elsewhere!
