I liked immaculata when I first began taking classes there. Unfortunately the communication with professors and other administrators was severely lacking . The worst part however, was the financial aid office. I was told I could pay off my tuition balance (no idea why I had one) in installments. I contacted the office multiple times and would not receive any help. When a person did get back to me many weeks later they told me I have never called or emailed anyone and they sent my account to collections. Literally... Read More held up my entire education. They were of 0 help and do not attempt to work with me . I transferred to another school shortly after and was amazed at how helpful that financial aid office was. I was never offered any of the grants I was eligible for through immaculata they insisted I pay out pocket. There’s a Catholic institution for you.

They curriculum includes teaching students how to work with families, different ethnicities, homosexuals, drug addictions, trauma, crisis, suicide, anxiety and mood disorders. I think that Immaculata is a awesome school that is dedicated not only to the student population but makes an impact on the world through their professors because they do empirical research.
