Salary and Debt by Major at Kennesaw State University

We calculated a Salary Score for each of Kennesaw State University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Kennesaw State University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

The Computer science department at KSU is awful. They have GTAs teaching courses but legally can't list them as the instructor so you have some mystery professor that is never involved with your class. You're taught by GTAs that are rarely understandable and less than helpful when you run into issues. How they expect students with their own course work to be able to be dedicated to an entire class is beyond me. I've had GTAs before but they are literally that... teaching ASSISTANTS. To offer a counterpoint to the 2 reviews here about a poor application/enrollment experience, I applied online and had multiple transcripts sent to (and received by) KSU with no problem, and I was able to track everything easily through KSU's online "Application Status Check" tool in what they call "OWL Express." So far everything about: getting my new-student requirements completed; seeing how my transfer credits were applied; registering for my first semester of classes; meeting with an academic advisor;...
