Salary and Debt by Major at Louisiana Tech University
We calculated a Salary Score for each of Louisiana Tech University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Louisiana Tech University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

There are some truly great professors at this school like Dr. Clay, but there are also some absolutely miserable professors like Dr. Hill, that are completely apathetic to anything that may happen to you. I had a lab TA send me a multipara graph rant that was extremely rude and insulting just for asking about my grade. When I went to the Dean about the email, the whole issue... Read More

I had no idea of the amazing value I would receive by being a student there. I saw technology while I was a student there, that it took an entire decade to see in mainstream America. I suppose that's the benefit of going to one of the top research schools in Louisiana. However, I didn't attend there because of that. My Dad went to LA Tech and its... Read More
