Salary and Debt by Major at Medical University of South Carolina
We calculated a Salary Score for each of Medical University of South Carolina's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Medical University of South Carolina to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

The Medical University of South Carolina's (MUSC) College of Medicine (COM) program is, in my opinion, the best program in the state for anyone wishing to become a physician. The administrative staff, full time professors, guest lecturers, supplemental instructors and the Center for Academic Excellence program directors all want you to succeed. Every faculty and staff member I've interacted... Read More
I have been thrilled with my continued education thus far at MUSC. Although I have only been a student here for 6 months, I already feel genuinely prepared for the career I am pursuing. The two program directors, which are also my professors, are the main reason for my success in the program. The campus as whole is filled with opportunity, with three affiliated hospitals all within walking distance of each other.
