Salary and Debt by Major at Portland Community College
We calculated a Salary Score for each of Portland Community College's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Portland Community College to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

I would not recommend PCC for a choice of education. My education is paid for by my employer and I chose PCC due to its association with my employer. I took math classes. In my first class I was being graded on English formatting not the math. I was pulling a D- consistently and then I looked up the professor reviews and found 2 stars for the professor with many complaining about the same things. My first advisor was not able to properly advise STEM students. He then eventually emailed me that he was no longer... Read More
PCC offers free tuition for senior citizens under the Senior Audit program, but they make it virtually impossible to get into the program. Their teachers do not understand the program and require multiple contacts before they respond to emails. You can not be registered until the first day of class. Some courses are core classes that do do qualify for audit, but there is no notification of this. I think they have the program so they can “virtue signal” and then try to make it inaccessible due to costs. All... Read More
