I transferred to Trinity in the fall of 2017. I had high expectations of their school as the person who recruited me had nothing but good things to say about it. I was recruited to play volleyball at Trinity. Unfortunately, as soon as I got to Trinity things started to take a turn for the worst. My coach who brought me into the school and was basically the reason I ended up there ( for a few reasons other than sports) has been fired for something he really shouldn't have been fired for (it was all political).... Read More The coach who took his place and I did not see eye to eye. This usually wouldn't be a problem for us if we were willing to work out our differences, but he refused to give me a fair chance. His solution for dealing with me was to try and get rid of me the best he could, either by benching me or trying to get me kicked off the team, I was suspended for a week for making a rude comment, (i do admit I was wrong) however I found it to be strange that others are allowed to be downright rude and shout out other disgusting things in our huddles and coach does not even bat an eye (clear favoritism). Outside of just volleyball, the administration at the school is just as corrupt and arrogant. I was involved in an altercation with my roommate in which I was the victim. We were having a heated exchange back and forth before he threw me to the ground and started choking me. I did not lay a finger on him. When the deans got involved, they tried to pass the blame on me as if I was the one who instigated it, and the only reason I believe this to be true is that the student who attacked me was foreign, and taking appropriate action might lead to him having to leave the country since he was not a citizen. Absolutely no disciplinary actions were dealt to the student who attacked me, and their only plan of resolution was making sure that we could both coexist on this campus together. Are you kidding me! He is still enrolled in classes to this day so if you are a current student, watch out because if you get attacked the deans will do nothing about it. The classes were okay, nothing special. you could get better education for way cheaper at a state college. At Trinity, you are overpaying for a below average college experience. At the end of the day. college is what you make of it, and it is entirely possible to have an enjoyable time at Trinity, just don't expect some magical time like they advertise it to be.

Trinity has the best BSW program. It was far more than I ever expected or could have asked for. The professors are very knowledgeable in this field and make learning very easy. They also are more than just professors they become your support system and confidants. They make college fun. The nicest part of the BSW program at Trinity is that it is advanced standing. This means that if you pursue a graduate degree in social work then you can complete it in only one year! I loved this school so much: the intimate... Read More setting, the camaraderie, the overall education. It was all amazing. I felt very confident and prepared going into my BSW internship as well as starting my MSW program. I would highly recommend.
