Morris is a great school, especially if one wants to pursue a career in teaching, the social sciences or agriculture. I chose Morris because I wanted a school with a good reputation and was small. The school's location and character help motivate students to pursue their dreams and reach their goals. The professors care about the students success and believe in helping students mold into their career of choice. The school has a very organised activities program and weekend life is alive. There is always something to do each night. The diversity and rich history of the campus add to its overall fluid atmosphere. They have well organised sports teams including men and women's soccer, basketball and football.... Read More The arts department is responsible for many dance and drama presentations most weekends. On campus work is available for those that wish to get a job as well as do the work study option of financial aid. The rooms in the dormitories are nice and spacious. There are not many places to eat off campus however food on campus is good. The classes and degree programs are designed for students to succeed and focus on learning and not just passing. The liberal arts focus prepares students for the world with tools that will help you succeed in any area or career. This encourages students to not only be themselves but also to discover new skills and to grow. I really enjoyed my four years at this college. Each semester I saw my achievements increase and felt my personal growth. This motivated me to continue up to graduation. Considering that I was on probation the first semester, I made it to graduation. I graduated in a different major than I had intended initially but I am glad I made the change and found my true self.
