When walking on campus to classes, you can expect to see people you are acquainted with as well as many new faces everyday. Wake Forest University is located about 10 minutes outside downtown Winston-Salem, NC which is a medium sized city. There is a satellite campus located right downtown that is specific to some classes with buses to take you to and from your classes downtown if you choose to take classes there. Due to the intense nature of the academics at Wake Forest Univ, you will find that most of your time will be spent studying. Even though the classes are hard, you will find that most students are encouraged to hold campus jobs, join different clubs and greek life, and become local volunteers. Overall, you will find that Wake will take what you are good at and make you GREAT. They provide endless opportunities for students and graduates who show that they work hard, are well rounded and have the potential to "make it" in the real world.
