West Texas A&M University Rankings by Salary Score™
Salary and Debt by Major at West Texas A&M University
We calculated a Salary Score for each of West Texas A&M University's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at West Texas A&M University to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

I think that WTAMU was a great experience for me. I moved to the Amarillo area to a relocation of my husband for work. It was also a less expensive way to obtain my degree and online classes were not available so i had limited choices. The professors were very helpful and knowledgeable and set me up for great success in my career. I am proud of my degree at WTAMU
West Texas A&M was an amazing university to attend. The small class sizes and small campus lead to a very hometown feeling. The professors were always more than willing to work with you and help you outside of class time. They would make sure you understand the content and were getting the most of your education. The education department was fantastic and left me feeling super prepared to lead my own classroom.
