I enjoyed my experience there and would recommend the College to any other student looking to pursue a degree in a science based field. Wesleyan is a quality academic institution with professors that are very knowledgeable in their subject and many have been published numerous times. The professors are all willing to work with you in order to allow you to succeed in their classes whether that includes extra study sessions, giving you more time to take an exam, or pairing you with an individual in the class... Read More that is understanding the material. The downfall to the campus is that some of the higher officials are not as concerned about the students as they are the finances. Recently there were significant lay-offs that could impact the quality of education the institution provides. The exercise science and athletic training facilities are somewhat lacking in some areas as the equipment we have for our labs can be outdated or non-functional at times. This comes back to the financial status of the college as well. Overall, I would recommend any student interested in a degree in a science field to consider attending West Virginia Wesleyan College as it is a superb educational institution.
