It is very rare that I feel regret about the past, but joining W&M's online program in school counseling was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. There are far more affordable options, but I thought that the university's reputation warrants paying more. Huge mistake. Very few professors are trying to teach. They make online students feel accepted in a way other universities don't. You learn the history, the alma-mater, all the things a normal on-campus student would learn. They also include on-campus requirements that give you additional experience. This isn't for show like most other schools, it's to actually connect. I've visited the campus almost 30 times and feel just as at home as I would if I had attended in person. 100% would recommend.
