The online grad program are not 8 week courses. It is actually a 7 and half week courses. Misleading description. Professors regularly issue flunking grades of Zero for assignments, even though work is completed 100%. Tuition is paid in full, and penalize students if final paper is not turned in by the 7 and half weeks, even though it is turned in on time, before the end of 8 weeks. Writing opinion essays about other college equine programs has nothing to do with gaining graduate skills for equine education career skills. There are not textbooks for any of the courses. A course only has a couple of links to online articles. Then have to write your own opinion about the other colleges. Not worth the tuition debt for these classes. I was an honors student in undergrad at different college, and I took Accelerated English in undergrad, and this Grad program is not a good investment. I am looking to transferring out to a real grad program.

William Woods University's Sign language interpretation program is one of the best in the country. The program is very hands on and offers a variety of learning techniques. The Deaf school is minutes down the street where you can become involved in many aspects of there day from after school sporting events to various events sponsored by the school or even becoming a volunteer at the school. Also there is a sign language club on campus that allows to become involved around campus and provide awareness on Deaf culture. The staff are very accommodating to your needs and will continue to work with you to make sure you succeed. Another opportunity that is provided is the Deaf run lab where you have the opportunity to get help from Deaf mentors as well as visit weekly to continue practicing your skills. There are a multitude of resources available at William Woods in order to succeed within the interpretation program. There are also other programs that go along side this degree that are beneficial in background knowledge once in the interpreting field.
