The courses were great. They were challenging and a lot of critical thinking which I loved. My complaints are mostly to Residential Life, Financial Services, and some of the professors/academic advisors. Residential Life: If you have any problems with anybody in your hall or your roommate, they will not solve anything unless it's an emergency. By emergency I mean the other person gets violent and hits you (I saw it happen and a similar thing happened to me). Thats when they try to solve the problem, but the... Read More person doesn't get kicked out, they just move them somewhere else, and they tell you to not press charges. Also if there is an emergency, call 911, they'll encourage you to call Campus Safety, don't. Financial Service: I can not tell you how many times they lost my financial information, because I lost count. They also didn't want to refund my money that I had left over from scholarships. They kept it. Even the place from where I got my scholarship said, whatever is left over can be given back to you. Professors/Academic Advisors: Some of these professors shouldn't be teaching. One of my accounting professors is so old he can't speak loudly anymore. You wouldn't be able to hear him during lecture. He would also teach you something then on the test you would do it the same way and he would count it wrong saying that he never taught it that way. And I know this was a problem because I wasn't the only one with confusion, it was the entire class. Some professors would never want to meet with you saying that they're to busy and to go ask a fellow classmate or get tutoring. Well, they don't have tutoring available for every class. Also, the tutors they choose aren't the best. You set up an appointment with a tutor, you show up, but they don't. Yet they still get paid because you have to sign in on a computer when you walk in. Oh! and another thing with Campus Safety. If you have any sort of problem where you feel unsafe or anything like that don't call them, call 911. Campus Safety takes hours to show up, or they don't show up at all. And if you have any complaints about someone or another floor/room being loud email Res Life, your RA/RD, and call Campus Safety (they'll probably won't do anything), just so theres a record. And if they don't fix anything and listen to you, get your parents involved. That's what I sadly had to do because it was the only way they would listen to me and fix the issue. They'll tell you that you're an adult and to stand up for yourself, but yet they still treat you like a child. Other than those things, I enjoyed my time there. I met some amazing people and got my bachelors. For all the things listed above, I made the decision to NOT attend graduate school here. Instead I have transferred all the way to the other side of the U.S. and am currently attending the University of Southern California!! Which I have no complaints about yet!

The school shows a great interest in students and cares about everyone. They take every opinions into consideration and always listen in the purpose of making student successful. The curriculum is strong and full of opportunity to learn. As usual as any other school, there are poor and great professor, but the point is you've got to be flexible and smart in learning the different styles of teaching and finding a way to do great in each class.
