"I found Everglades University because my co-worker heard that this school takes students who have their A&P. EU gives transfer credit for FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification. I found the workload and the class schedule is manageable for people who work and go to school. My faculty member Mr. Henry is very personable. He explains the material very well. I am enjoying my class. The Tampa campus has a very tight-knit community. You feel like everything is more one-on-one, so you are actually able to gather more information and learn more."

"Upon attending Everglades, I knew I wanted to get a construction degree but was not sure of my next step. My only real experience in construction was doing side jobs with my cousin, and this made me appreciate the industry and the craft. With the help of the faculty, the dean, and VP, I was able to earn my Master's degree MBA with a concentration in construction management. Professor Bankole, Dr. Argen, and Dr. Fronrath made my learning experience worthwhile. I walked into Everglades excited (because I did it and it was new), and doubtful (because I had no clue what I was doing), but these professionals helped me to use my abilities and skills to complete my program. When I came to Everglades I was told by staff members to reach out to Dr. Abby, and that was the best thing I did.. What a blessing I am so grateful to have come in contact with her. Dr. Abby spent the time and the effort to guide me, help me, give me critical criticism to know my worth when it came to my profession. I wish they had more professionals like her. I volunteered and loved it because of Dr. Abby. I would recommend Everglades (Tampa) to anyone. The Tampa campus gave me a family of brothers in construction that I can call on anytime. I had no real experience in construction but with assistance I was able to get a Construction Manager job with Lennar Homes. I am happy I found Everglades University. This place changed my life."

"I chose Everglades university because it was very convenient and flexible for me. I have 3 more months until graduation and my experience so far at Everglades has been great. Classes are well structured and Professors are very knowledgeable in their field. One of the things I like the most is how they give you real life scenarios that sometimes the books don't talk about. Since I work in my field of study, I've been able to put into practice a lot of the content from class and for me that's very helpful."

"I am very satisfied with the Masters in Construction Management program at Everglades University. The professors are very experienced and bring their expertise to class through real world situations. We have the opportunity to share our experiences as well, which makes the classes to flow in a very participative way, and the staff is always very friendly and available to address our concerns. The way the program is designed favors the learning process, once the students are constantly challenged to study and discuss the most recent practices in the field. Finally, our classmates are people from the field, who share their knowledge and contributes a lot for the success of the learning process."

One instructor who holds a special place in my education is Mr. Bankole who always provided me with knowledge and realistic scenarios in the construction field. "Everglades University is an excellent choice to continue your education studies. The staff is Professional, friendly and helpful. The Professors are an excellent addition to the school and they take pride in their work and the students.The Dean make sure that the students have all the materials needed to aid them in their studies. "Orlando (Maitland) Campus - Everyone on campus from the Dean, Professors, Staff, and Security were positive and created a friendly safe environment. Class sizes were small and intimate to where learning was at the individual level. The professors are all professionals in their field and offer great knowledge and experience. Whereas in most universities, if your program does not have many students, they will hold off till they have met a minimum. At Everglades University, during my degree specific work, class size was just the professor and myself. This personal experience was incredible and made me feel not like a student with a number but as individual that has worth. Would highly recommend and have recommended to others."

"When I first came to Everglades University, I had just retired from the Air Force and moved back to Tampa, looking for an educational program to compliment my experience. All of my instructors at Everglades helped me gain a broader perspective of opportunities in civilian aviation. Dr Chris Bellamy and Mr Terry Henry were especially knowledgeable in the aviation industry. All of the staff were excellent during my time at the Tampa campus. I have a great sense of accomplishment from completing my studies at Everglades."

"I decided to enroll in the Construction Management program because I have been in construction my whole life. I am a fourth-generation construction worker. I know every trick in the trade. The subjects that interested me most in the program are LEED, leadership, and sustainability. I knew that I had to come to school because I learned you can’t get jobs without a degree. I picked Everglades University because it is fast-paced with only one class per month. One thing that I like about the Tampa campus is the people. I am a people person, and when I come to the front, I get to see Melissa, Kerstin, and Liza. I never have to stand in line at this school."

"When I first came to Everglades University, I had completed 12 years of service in the US Navy and I was looking for a local college with an aviation major. I came across EU through Google and my local Naval recruiter's office. I went on campus in Tampa, was impressed, and signed up for classes right away. Now I'm graduating with a degree that I am proud to have earned from such a great school. Mr. Henry and Dr. Bellamy were the two instructors that have a special place in my heart. Mr. Henry was always warm and inviting during his lectures and his amazing enthusiasm for the field and his experience were really present in everything he taught. I hope to have the same enthusiasm and push as he did. Dr. Bellamy really made class interesting and interactive through the many group discussions and his leadership moments before each lecture. Dr. Bellamy also showed his enthusiasm for aviation, and I liked the fact that he is prior military like me. His lectures are such a treasure to me and my future! Dr. Abby Hamilton and Dean Carlson were the two staff members who helped me succeed or overcome obstacles. Besides Dr. Abby Hamilton being a close family friend, she was the one I turned to whenever I felt anxious about jobs or life itself. She is such a beacon of light through the treacherous waters of college for me! Dean Carlson was such a great leader to me since she was able to help me navigate through the many classes I have to take, and she was able to direct or guide me whenever I had questions about my GI Bill. She was one of the best student and academic advisors I ever had! EU has helped me through life and change it for the better. After the Navy, I had many questions and things I wanted to accomplish. EU had the type of degree that I was looking for and helped me accomplish my dreams of having a job in the aviation field. It also help me a role model for my children in the fact that College is essential to accomplishing your dreams!"

"After receiving a degree in Holistic Nutrition, I wanted to learn more about alternative medicine. After researching, I found that not many schools offered it. I found EU, and I was able to transfer credits from my previous education. There were many instructors who have helped to change my life, but I would say most all of them. Dr Appiah and Dr. Vakiaros come to mind first because they have been my instructors in this degree. To help me succeed and overcome obstacles, Dr. Abby has been a huge encouragement and has assisted me very much. Everglades University has also help me overcome my fear of public speaking, which is huge! I am currently working in my field at Seminole Integrative Medicine. It is great for me to be able to work in a field I am passionate about."

"I really liked my experience here at EU. I first came here when I was 18 years old because when Hurricane Maria shut down my college in Puerto Rico, my mother wanted me to get my education. She sent me here to live with my grandparents and enroll at Everglades University. I am typically a very social person, but I was quiet here because my English wasn’t good. I will never forget when my psychology teacher taught me the 5-second rule, which helped me stop hesitating before I spoke. That was the start of my confidence, and I have grown up a lot here at Everglades University.
