"Martin Luther King once said, "Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education." I am proud to say that the Illinois Institute of Technology helped me achieve my goal of TRUE education by equipping me as a student and as an individual! The diverse and intelligent environment taught me so much more than I could have expected as a freshman. Upon graduation, I was fluent in much more than IT, but in the language of culture, compassion, and humanity also! It is my hope that everyone pursuing higher education, regardless of age, gender, race, or religion can receive the skill and character development provided by academic institutions and I would wholeheartedly suggest the Illinois Institute of Technology as your means to success!"

"This school is good for those interested careers in engineering or science. Most of my classmates in engineering landed solid jobs immediately after school. The classes are relatively challenging. The quality of instruction varies from great to mediocre, as many instructors are there primarily to pursue their research interests. The campus lacks esthetic appeal, and there is minimal school spirit. I recommend that students get involved in extracurricular activities and explore Chicago in order to get the most out of their time at IIT."

"Good school if you want to be a litigator or patent lawyer. But way too expensive and they accept too many people"

"In truth the biology department is awesome. There's not much going on in computer science unfortunately, especially if you're looking to do some research and or a thesis."

- Graduation Year: 2017
"The program I am currently seeking ranks among the top aerospace and mechanical engineering programs in the country. The school is small, comparatively to the undergraduate school I attended (2nd largest in the nation), which allows for a closer relationship among faculty and students. The school is technologically oriented, allowing for real-time issues to be tackled over graduate research in the fields of environmental sustainability and advanced aerospace systems. As IIT resides in the city of Chicago, one can only imagine the benefits this has to a young adult. The only downfall to this program is that the school is private and therefore results in higher tuition costs. The ability to fund your education, especially at the master's level is extremely difficult and can result in large amounts of debt."

"IIT is a fantastic school for Architecture thanks to its history, curriculum, and staff. However, the high price and little financial aid make it a difficult school to attend."

"School is great. Surroundings are not safe, but the school takes special care about the safety of students. Education quality is phenomenal. Professors are very helping, soft spoken, cheerful. one feels comfortable around them and this helps in better understanding of the subject. College has ample of recreational activities to take mind off studies every now and then and get involved in extra-curricular activities. A great school to be in."
