"The academic level was less than what I was expecting, and was under the academic level I am used to. Teachers were often absent. My advisor is only in her office during my class hours. The administration seems to try to make all procedures as unclear as possible, for students and for faculty. The campus is very unsafe. The technical support team is not very good at solving issues with the technology they put in place on campus. The food and housing on campus is extremely expensive. The amount of homework is insanely large."

"Chicago is great and has a lot to offer, I also enjoyed University's environment very much; it is quiet peaceful and not crowded. The gym facilities especially fitness is not convenient. The most important issue is their poor financial aids esp. for graduate students."

"Pros are that it is located in Chicago, home to worlds biggest derivatives market, and the msf program is very well suited for the financial markets. Cons would be that faculty for some subjects need to be upgraded."

"Pros- great location with access to many opportinities, great mentorship, good balance between clinical training and research work. Cons- not as well funded as other schools, location within the city lends itself to more criminal activity than I would like."

"They have very limited sources of financial aid for international students, so it costs a lot and the burden will distract your concentration on courses. Pretentious work is highly done among the student and faculty, and you are mostly charged for pretentious activities. However, it is not included all students and faculty."

"To be honest, the teachers here in IIT are great. They always willing to help student, hoping they are able to learn more, instead of just teach within lectures and student just go home without any gain. Reasonable homework/assignment workload during semester ,provide the opportunity to use what we've just learnt. However, faculty resource for Biology department was extremely low. They cant even afford every student have the chance to take part in research projects. For biology, the biggest problem is not enough funding. Which makes the lack of PhD students, scholarship and TA/RA positions, even just compare to other department at same institute."

"As a new program, the landscape architecture program is still working out it's bugs. But the professors are dedicated, working professionals, so the contacts you make, along with the skills you learn, are invaluable."

"The biggest con is the fact that there is not much funding, which makes me basically have to rely on student loans. On the plus side, the faculty is wonderful and very accessible. They are encouraging and help you achieve your goals. The education is very valuable and the experiences I am having go beyond the classroom."

"Studying the law takes a lot of work, so although the work load seems immense it's necessary to fully grasp everything the law entails. The professor's make learning enjoyable and are very realistic about what we are able to complete and when. I haven't utilized the career services myself but it's my understanding that it is an extremely helpful source. When choosing a school obviously the money is a major factor, Kent was so helpful and accommodating to my needs in that regard. A con may be the competitiveness among students, however, Kent faculty recommends us working together; students being competitive hasn't been something I have experienced personally. The location is phenomenal, right by the train stations and multiple bus stops. Also, Kent is in the loop which is where the heart of Chicago's business is. Another con may be that coffee isn't free, but then again it is only $1!"

"Pros: The school exemplifies a commitment to staying current on technology and particularly how it will affect the legal community. My teachers have been extremely approachable and helpful. Also, my teaching aids in the classes empathize my first year experiences especially in terms of preparation. Academic Program is very hands-on at Chicago Kent. I never feel like I can't reach out for help. Cons: The school's location is hidden and as well as any advertisement for the school surrounding the block. The school does not facilitate much interaction between the different years."

"Great law school in the heart of downtown Chicago. Easiest law school to reach from the suburbs given its ideal location next to Union Station. High Quality teachers and network. Competitive environment, but there are plenty of friendly people here too. Great career services, which is most important to me. Varied programs.specialties and ability to practice with real clients and earn class credit, which is rare. Excellent legal writing program and fantastic, new facility. Good education, just wish the school had a more recognizable name outside of the legal profession."
