"I enrolled at UEI for their Computer Networking class. I was really excited to think that I would be in a career where I would be able to succeed. I was told by their admission people that upon graduating with good grades and perfect attendance I would have a good chance in getting a job in the field. I was in school every day and received excellent grades. To my surprise, when sent to job interviews by their job placement department, I was devasted to find out that nothing I had learned was anywhere near qualified for a job as promised by their admissions people. I was told by employers that my training was not sufficient because I did not have any certifications. I am shocked because I had awesome grades but I couldn't even pass a certification. How is that even possible?! Now I know that their job was just to get me "in" and get me to so called "passing grades" so that the government would pay my financial aid. Now I am stuck with thousands of dollars in student loans and no job. Run the other way..."

"Save your money. Just like the other two review written here, you have to find your own externship. What is with that. They can take your money and you do what your suppose to do and then you have to do their job and find your own externship and job.You could most likely get a job and learn everything as on the job training and saved all that money. As far as getting your foot in the door, well that is bull."

"The Medical Assistant Program offered at UEI is great. The whole staff made it very easy and met every expectation that I had for the school. I learned about medical terminology, physical anatomy and physiology along with clerical and clinical topics. I landed a job within 1 week of finishing my intrenship.Thanks for for everthing."

"The program at United Education Institute is fantastic- besides the traditional training in human anatomy and physiology, I appreciated that they spent a significant amount of time on newer concerns such as the interactions between common medical treatments and massage therapy and current medical knowledge about the role massage therapy has in a healthy lifestyle. From day one UEI staff make it clear that we will learn most from each other, so fostering a cooperative learning process between classmates went a long ways towards everyone focused on learning instead of competing with one another. Our clinical teaching sessions and clinical patient sessions went a long ways towards making it feel that we were learning and were the reason why I was confident to go out and work right after finishing the course. The course provides the hours necessary to acquire the Registered Massage Therapist designation, but you have to take another exam first. This was an excellent program, and it could not have prepared me better for the job I would be doing when I finished any better than it did."

"I loved that I was able to get my certificate in only eight months. The teachers were great. I guess the only negative thing is that the classes are a little hard. But, they have to be so that you can get your certificate quickly and be prepared to be a pharmacy technician. I was prepared for my career and easily obtained a job."

"The coursework was a lot of hands on. The teacher would show us how to perform a task, then we would practice with other students and be tested at the end of the week on it. We had a written test every week also that we would study for. It made it pretty easy to learn a little bit at a time. The teachers were very nice. We did a lot of group work, so I made a lot of friends there. The overall experience was pretty good. There was a lot of flirting with the teachers and the students. I didn't like that part. It did prepare me for a new career!!"
