"The professors are definitely a great attribute to the students. Most have a lot of professional experience and are always willing to give students educational and professional advice. In addition, many are flexible and supportive of students. They are extremely knowledgeable and you will learn a lot for your MSW career! However, the overall administration of the school can sometimes be daunting with financial aid and student advising. So students need to be prepared to advocate for themselves when they need things done. In addition, the field placements make it nearly impossible to work full time and complete the MSW program. So many students have to stop working, which means they have to incur additional student loans for tuition and living expenses. Overall, the program is good and I would recommend it, but those are all things to consider when applying for admission."

"The Physical Therapy faculty is absolutely amazing. As experts in their particular discipline, each professor is able to teach proper clinical decision making to the student as well as provide insight into what actually happens when you're a practicing Physical Therapist. The facilities are the only con that I can think of, but the level of instruction is much more important that the facilities in my opinion."

"I believe that the structure of this graduate program truly helps individuals to feel well educated and confident to begin their careers in social work after graduation. The teachers are great and are very interested in making sure that you can apply the information you learn to life, rather than just reciting textbook information. Also, the field placement requirement is a great opportunity to "get your feet wet" in the social work field and to further learn how to apply your learning to your career."

"University of Maryland Baltimore is a great place to study health care-related sciences. It prides itself in being one of the most interdisciplinary schools, and it shows by the many collaborations between schools and dual-degrees offered. The school constantly strives toward improvement and takes the students' evaluations very seriously. However, because it is located in downtown Baltimore, it is not the safest environment."

"The university is of good quality but is located in Baltimore Maryland which is a high crime surrounding area. Many of the professors genuinely care for the students."

"Tell us about your college experience.I attended while I was in the U.S. Navy and they made it simple to complete my couse credits when I was home and abroad with their distance learning program.Would you get the same degree if you could start over? No. It wasn't required for me start a business or grow it over time. You can pay subject matter experts for anything you need as you progress your business plan. What advice can you offer other students?Follow your passion and pick a general degree if you have your not sure what career correlates what you are truly happy doing. Once you find it then, focus on it and invest in your self first."

"The graduate nursing programs at UMB are very, very competitive. As a part time student and working full time, so far the work load has been manageable. However I have heard from other students and faculty that working full time is not possible with clinical rotations so that remains to be seen.Otherwise be prepared to hit the books hard. Memorizing is not an option because as a graduate prepared nurse you have to know your stuff especially if you will be diagnosing and treating patients."
