"The best part about being at Oregon Law is the people. I have made friends for life with some of the most intelligent people I've had the pleasure to meet. The faculty is very accessible and knowledgeable. Their backgrounds are impressive, and they are passionate about their work. The work load is manageable. After all, you never expect law school to be easy. The career center is mediocre. They can give basic advise well, but it's all very generic, cookie-cutter responses. Eugene is a WONDERFUL town. I love living here and I will be sad to leave when I graduate.Read Less"

"I feel like it is a young program, and that encompasses both its positive and negative qualities. The current scope of the field of CRES represented in the program is limited, but the faculty is very eager to hear feedback and work to constantly improve the program."

"We have a cohort model where, for the first year, all incoming students take most of their classes together. This has been nice for creating friendships and developing network connections. The CRES support staff are amazing. They are always available and help students with anything they need. They really care about the students and their successes. The biggest issue I have with the program is the lack of diversity in the teaching staff. They provide a predominantly white western dominant cultural perspective which isn't always useful in a field with major international opportunities.Read Less"
