"For a school that prides itself on the use of technology in the curriculum the school has a long way to go. I enjoy the rigorous curriculum as I am not afforded the opportunity to procrastinate. In addition, I am able to apply what I learn the very next day in my job."

"The professors stress the importance for students to pinpoint how the concepts in each course correspond directly to each student's real-world experiences. The University's focus is to teach students the importance of teamwork and good communication. Students produce individual assignments; however, teaching students to work with a team is the main focus. Most team projects involve writing papers together or creating Power Point presentations. Students that are unwilling or unable to dedicate a significant amount of time to reading, writing papers, and studying will not succeed in the MBA program at the University of Phoenix. Conversely, students that are dedicated and willing to devote the time necessary to complete the program will have a rewarding and uplifting experience at the University of Phoenix."

"I have no issues with the graduate program, I like that I am able to take classes at a slow pace and I don't have to stay with a specific group. But as far as academic counselor the school is doing students a disservice to constantly changing their academic counselor. I have had 5 so far. This has not served any purpose for me. I don't understand the turnover problems that they have in the academic advisement area. This needs to be changed. I know there has to be a better way for students. It becomes impersonal when they are constantly changine advisors."

"We have great teachers at the school that have long and valuable experience in the work environment. However, the school needs to evaluate the management of learning teams to define actions taken for those students that don't do the work."

"The pros of the program are that the teachers are actually in the profession that they are teaching. The cons are that some teachers do not enforce class policy on students that do not respect others opinions."

"i like UOP but it is very expensive and there is something going on with the Va pay and we as veterans should be getting all of our BAH. Also we should be getting 4 credits instead of 3."

"The pros are having a flexible schedule, making balancing life easier. Learning on my own terms allows control of my learning environment. I love being able to go to a classroom environment. I agree that we often learn more from each other. The cons of going with a non traditional method learning environment is the information comes at you much faster and is hard to comprehend. A more hands on approach would benefit more comprehensively among the students."

"I really injoyed building relationships within all of my learning teams and feel that team work built into my program gave a great perspective into my career field. I feel prepaired and have the skills needed to exceed my goals within my career choice. I had a lot of very good instructors and they were able to relate to real life situations within all education topics that were taught in my degree program....I am very happy with my school choice! Thanks"

"The program is fairly easy. Most classes have non-traditional students who are back in school. The program is not challenging and is pretty straight-forward in all classes. What I least like about the program is the mandatory team assignments for all classes for the entire program. It builds your team skills and conflict resolution skills, but it is very redundant after the fourth class. You are able to work with different types of personalities, educational backgrounds, personal backgrounds, etc. The school is very concerned with their students' succes with weekly tutoring sessions, weekly calls from advisors, and career fairs."

"I think that the University of Phoenix offers very convenient class sizes and location. The only problem is that i think the tuition is a bit much considering that all of the books are online. Other than that i think the University of Phoenix is very good."

"The pros of my experience at the University of Phoenix was the flexibility of choosing class days to attend school. Being able to work and go to school made it a easy decision to go back to school to get a degree. The counselors where always their for one to get any help one needed whether it was on campus or off campus they went out of their way to obtain information. The cons was some of the classes needed more time to get the whole picture of the program the lay out of the program gave the understanding of what is needed to get the job done but some assignments needed more time to be completed with more research. Overall I would refer this University to all of my family and friends to continue their education."

"Pro- All my advisors are there to assist with any questions. I am the first in my family to go to college and had no idea what I was doing. My advisors took care of me and gave me support. My teachers challenged me and with all the help I was able to promote at work. Cons- In my town public transportation is not the best, but it does not reflect on the school. All colleges are expensive when you have to pay for your school."
