"Where do I start... I have attended both private and public educational institutes, Lets be real the only thing all colleges and universities want is money. They are money making machines basically and Keiser is not any different. You just have to figure out which one fits your needs. I am currently a student at the Miami Keiser campus attending the Bachelors in Biomedical science program. The classes at Keiser are accelerated and fast paced which is great if you want to graduate quicker but not as good for retaining information and finishing with an idea of what the subject was about. If you attend Keiser you HAVE TO finish with them or else you will be on the same boat as everyone else that writes bad reviews for Keiser University. They are overpriced and quality is not the best. I have a GPA of 3.51 so I would consider myself a good opinion maker on Keiser University. Keiser University sounds like the easier way out to finish a degree but its not they are unorganized and you will come out of pocket in a hefty amount. If you decide to transfer to another university half way into your Bachelors other schools wont take half of your credits from Keiser because they know its an accelerated program and they don't count it. Don't come into Keiser thinking they will assist you with your work schedule either. They don't inform you of the class schedule a few weeks before the next schedule, they will basically post it a week before you have to be in class. So have a very flexible employer. I would advise to attend another reputable college or university regardless of your age and Keiser should only be considered as a last resort. And I mean last resort. Professors are professional and educated, dont have a complain about administration only that they are unorganized, but Keiser university as a whole should be your last resort as an educational institute"

"I went to the Fort Myers Keiser campus for the accelerated nursing program. This was the biggest mistake I could have ever made! Teachers were harsh, lacked empathy, care, and had no desire to help students do the best they can. It was more like an adult day care for them, clock in tell us a few things that didnt relate to any exam we ever took, lecture us on what color socks, shoes, and how other silly rules they have in place and clock out. We literally had to teach ourselves and read the entire book for majority of these classes. We couldnt find a single professor that cared to guide us to success or give us insight. They were all condescending and heartless. Not sure how any of them were or still are currently nurses with those attitudes and way of thinking. I would avoid this campus at all cost!! Theyre biased with their grading and favortize students. They just care about the money we pay them, its more of a business than faculty that cares about seeing their students succeed. Pathetic! This is coming from a student who is passing!"

"I've been seeing so many horrible things about Keiser University. Everyone has their own experience. I attend the port st lucie campus but I had a medical issue which has made me withdrawal but I will be coming back to Keiser next month. I've been at Keiser for a little over a year and the school is AMAZING. Positive environment. Due to having health issues and surgeries I was forced to withdrawal from my classes multiple times, I just couldn't attend. The teachers, staff, financial aid were very understanding and have helped me throughout my journey and they've not let me down. The classes are expensive but you finish faster. It's by far the best college I've been to and I'd recommend Keiser to everyone. It's the best. I admire the hard work of teachers and staff members."

"FAST TRACK BSN PROGRAM IS THE WORSE! Do not go to the college for your nursing degree, they clearly fight to weed out as many students as they can when you start. Professors rarely make time to meet with students and constantly reprimanding students over the color of their socks and many other silly things over their education. They worry more about looking for things to call you out on then they do teaching you. half of our professors had no idea what they were teaching, our director walked around like a nazi putting many students down. They rarely say anything uplifting or kind, yet 90of the program focuses on having empathy and kindness. Clearly traits they lack! We hear at least once a day how many people dont succeed in these programs and how they are intense and they have no excuses, you can be at your own funeral and they still wont accept that as a valid excuse for any reason. Unethical and inhumane! I wish I could say I was exaggerating, but every cohort before and after me can attest to this! I even had to speak to the Dean about some personal issues we had and we just got "I have no time" rushed us into voicing our thoughts and told us "well I apologize nothing I can do" and walked out! When you can even get a kind word or any feedback from your Dean of all people there is clearly an issue!"

"I attend Keiser university, Pembroke Pines campus for the occupational therapy Assistant program. So far the staff have been nothing but amazing and my teachers are fantastic, especially my psychology teacher Adriana Repaci. Yes the school is intense and you have to pay attention and work at a fast pace, but isn’t that why we go to college? To push ourselves to be ready for a competitive work environment! If working at a fast pace and having to pay attention in class isn’t for you, then I suggest you try a community college or fast food!"

"I would definitely say stay away from the Port Saint Lucie Keiser campus!! I was the Frist in my family to go to college. My major was RT, it was a two year course. The financial aid department was hasty to have me enroll into the class, my husband and I ask several questions and the answers were very vague. My GE classes were online which I had no problem with, except my Father had a stroke in the beginning of my Math course and I had to drop the course and ended up paying $2000 more because of that, which was the first thing that was not just, the school would not accepted my Father's doctors note I started my core classes and everything was going great, up to my 4th to last class, my doctor had put me on some medication that was not agreeing with my system, and the clinical director took notice and called me into his office. He stated the way I was acting was not normal and that I should take medical leave, which I was going to do, until the Dean said it would be better if I stayed so I could repeat the classes again (free of charge). I listened to his advice, because I trusted him, and repeated the classes again, however, I was still on the medication and I missed the grade by 1 point to pass the class, but I did have a B+ average. The director took me to the Dean's office once again, the Dean could of pass me, but in reality, I needed to be put on medical leave until I sorted the medication out with my doctor. The worst part is later I found out that those classes I repeated, I should have taken when I came back from medical leave. In essence the Dean of the school lied because he did not want to fill out the medical leave papers in the first place. KU failed me out of the school because of one point, now I am left with a $47,000, , bill, no Radiology Degree and, no descent job to pay for it. Basically, Keiser University screwed me over the coals. Therefore, I would not recommend the school to know one!"

"This is by far the worst university I have ever had to deal with. They preach they are "students first" but will keep your leftover private loan money so that they do not have to give you your scholarships. They do not care if they are overcrowded, they continue to accept students knowing they do not have the space to accomodate the students."

"I came to Keiser b/c I was on academic probation at Broward College within my second semester of attending! It was either sit out a year or attend a different school. Keiser gave me a second chance,It is a private school so it is more expensive than public schools. The only thing I can say that I disliked about Keiser would have to be the building being out dated, overall it was an okay school. Smaller class sizes, tutoring available, work study opurtunity, small school. I did what I had to do and graduated with my AA and transferred to FIU earning my bachelors degree. While attending Keiser there were a lot of people with negative mindsets that complained about a lot of things but at the end of the day go in to learn what you have to learn and graduate. EVERY school is a business and care about money!"

"PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! i am a just graduated high school student that has chosen to attend keiser in hopes of achieving a masters degree and becoming a nurse practitioner. THIS SCHOOL IS A JOKE!!!! the first problem was with financial aid. my mom started the process of getting everything paid for and ready a year before i was suppose to attend, fast forward, we are now a month before fall semester starts and they say they cant find any of my papers and that i wont be able to attend school unless they have my papers. so once they made my mom take time off of work to resend all of my papers that they lost they told us that it would be smart for my parents to take out a parent plus loan to cover the extra little amount that is not covered by my scholarships, and whatever money is left over from that i will be getting back, they told me that i should be expecting around $1000-2000 back during the month of october..... the month of october came and went and there was no money credited to my blackboard account. so i went in to talk to someone and they gave me every excuse they could possibly come up with every single week until the month of december when we were about to go on winter break. turns out. they pay your tuition with your loans first and then your scholarships and then whatever money you have left over from your scholarship ends up going to another student.......... please reread that and make sure you fully understand how poor their communication skills are...THIS IS A FOR PROFIT SCHOOL WHICH MEANS THEY WILL DO ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO S**** YOU IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY OUT OF EVERY LAST PENNY YOU HAVE!!!! the nursing director when i went to go talk to her didnt even know what her own program entailed and on top of no one communicating with each other you are treated like a child. the dress code is absolutely ridiculious as well as their reason behind having one. i should not be paying $2000 per class and still being told what i can and can not wear like a highschool student. that is absolutely absurd. and anyone who still decides to go here after reading this is absolutely insane. i would rather be in debt over student loans than in this unorganized facility. OH!!! almost forgot to mention.... they bad mouth every other college they possibly can to make you think youve made the right decision, sort of like a toxic relationship... tearing down everything around you so that you feel lucky that they accepted you when actually theyre ruining you."

"Do not go here! I couldnt find anywhere else to write a review. Coming into Keiser straight out of high school, my plan was to obtain my associates degree and be able to work and continue my education. I chose medical assisting. Yes, I do have a degree as an MA, but going to keiser has made my life EXTREMELY hard. I was upfront with the administration and told them after I obtain this degree I plan on transferring to another university to obtain a nursing degree. The staff let me know that the school does have a nursing school, but Ive read reviews and that wasnt going to happen. I talked with both schools, keiser and the one I would be transferring to, and they said they accepted credits. Well, Keiser decided to change the way they code their classes and my new school, which I am at now, cannot accept more than HALF of my credits and are requiring me to retake classes/take extra classes. All because keiser decided to change the way they code their classes. Not only that, but because KU changed and my new school does not accept more than half of my credits, my GPA went down. I graduated from KU with a 3.7 GPA and now my GPA is a 3.0 and I have to work to bring it up again because you have to have at least a 3.5 to be considered for the nursing program. I have had to jump through hoops, when I called to question the change I never heard back from anyone. Nobody returns emails or phone calls, and if you come in to try and talk to someone in person, they just left. It costs LESS money for me to attend an out of state school than it did to attend Keiser. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from headache and frustration, choose a different school. They will tell you how great the programs are but they teach you the bare minimum and once they have your money they do not care."

"Please DO take into consideration others' comments. I could not find a place to write a review, but I will at least post here. Coming into this program, I had close to a 4.0. I am a hard-working student and very dedicated to becoming a good nurse. Therefore, I put in 100+ hours a week to this program for the last four moths completing 6 classes and a 12.5 hour clinical each week. This program is very new at the Ft. Myers campus, so obviously we (all the students) expected a few bumps along the way. This program has some major issues, which directors and "higher ups" refuse to fix for incoming students to make the program successful. Instructors see that this is only a "money making" school and a few of them left during/right after the first semester. This school honestly could care less about making you a good nurse who can help save lives and knit picks on the craziest of things in papers and assignments. Can you do a 300 + point head to toe physical assessment? Yes! Do you have clinical instructors and nurses giving endless complements on patient care and attention to detail? Yes! But, you just cannot get the subjective APA formatting that varies by instructors discretion, so we are going to charge you another $3,200 to take the class over. I will be going elsewhere to continue my nursing education because this school is not professional. Our cohort started with 15 people. Several dropped because of one class. Over half of the others must repeat a class because of APA formatting. And society wonders why there is a nursing shortage, its because of programs like this. The teacher of our problem class does not understand the material she tests over, rationales for questions we ask are started with "probably" instead of explaining the material. She cannot explain it because she doesn't understand it herself. I asked for help or more resources to study or learn the material all semester only to have eye rolls and judgmental attitudes because I ask questions about the material she doesnt understand the answers to. At the end of the semester she said that the number of students having to retake the course had no reflect on her teaching or grading abilities. THEY COULD CARE LESS!!! PLEASE, I am begging anyone who is considering this program, EVERYONE in my class/cohort has had problems here and I am sure you will not be an exception. Now, as I am trying to leave they are saying their computer system screwed up and I owe them extra money. PLEASE consider other options before letting this place take your money and give you nothing in return. Trust me, better schools do exist that teach you how to be a good nurse and not just take your money and feed you to the wolves."

"When your balance is 0at the bursars office, and you have a credit on the school because you overpaid the school will come up with made up bills so you wont get your money back they will take the money back from military student scholarship and if the va overpaid the school they will make you the student pay for it so Keiser wont have to return not a penny to anyone"

"STAY AWAY FROM KEISER UNIVERSITY!!! I attended Keiser University (West Palm Beach) campus back in 2015-2016 and that was the biggest mistake I ever made. The only two good things about this school were the professors and one class per month. I received a check from Keiser at the end of the school year, I still have the voicemail from one of the lady from the Bursar's office that called me to verified my address because the check had returned back to them due to bad address. I got the check and I thought it was left over money from mine student loans, so I used it to caught up on bills. A month later I found out that I have to pay back the money because the money was for my last class with them. Two years later, they are still holding on to my transcript until I pay them $1,700 which I already paid $400.00 towards. The manager at the Ft. Lauderdale campus is blaming me for cashing the check, saying that I sholud have returned the check back to them. I feel like they screwed up and need to own up to their mistakes and waive the amount and give me mine transcript. I DO NOT recommend Keiser University to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go to South University, for the same amount of money you can graduate with a bachelor degree at South University."

"Stay away and spend your GI Bill elsewhere. So many hidden regulations and half your day spent on campus is at the financial aid office because they want $$$. Then you get back to class only to realize you missed half of it and no notes or handouts are provided for the schools negligence. Btw way overpriced for what you get!!"

"Veterans and non veterans, go to a community/state college. Do not waste your time with Keiser University. The instructors are very unprofessional. The instructor should be there to help you but they turn out to be the biggest bullies and so is the administration because they will not back you up, hence $$$ thats all they see. The curriculum is very fast pace and if you fail a class it takes months for you to get into the next one. They are in the business to make money so dont kid yourself into thinking they care. Your GI Bill will be all gone in a flash, they love GIs for that. If you want a proper education go to one of the schools I mentioned above, youll get more for your money and still left over. They will suck your money right out of you. Keiser is an expensive school that is not worth your time. Im warning my fellow comrades and non military as well. Take the advice and you will not be disappointed. I cant believe this school is operational."

"I went to the Orlando campus from 2011 through 2013. Mrs. G, was by far the worst instructor I ever had, but other than her inability to teach in a classroom setting and ridiculous exams, the school was great! Mrs. S, is the best! It is definitely expensive, but it's faster than taking 5 million unnecessary prerequisites and wasting 4 years (plus waiting lists) on a public university, so you can start working faster."

"Do not go to this School. I when to Keiser in 2011 for a few semesters. While there I decided to join the military in 2012 , I looked at the drop deadlines before I decided to withdraw from the Orlando Campus. I was still within the time to withdraw. I withdrew for the school and signed the paperwork and state the reason and joining the military. The employee who helped me told me, I has good and do not own any money. So 4 years later after my military duty, I try to get my transcripts so I can attend another school, Keiser University tells me I own $8k. I asked why it was never reported on my credit since I keep track, the response I got was that I got lucky. Not true, I had the paperwork to prove I withdrew 4 yrs ago if they would have reported back in 2012. And my student report is also missing the paperwork too. Yet the college reported to my student loans that I graduated from there. DO NOT GO TO KEISER UNIVERSITY."

"I graduated from the Port Saint Lucie campus in nursing and I am making great money! I was about to drop out after I failed a class, but J. and J. in financial aid worked together to keep me in...they took time to help me get back up and found a way to help me afford to re take the class. You simply don't get that type of help at a community college. They really cared about me and I could tell it wasn't just for the money. Yes Keiser is expensive but worth every penny because of workers like them. Thank you guys. I'll never forget how you cared about me...just a single mom trying to make a better life for me and my daughter."
