Runaway!

"Wow. Where to begin...runaway as fast as you can! This was the worst school I ever attended. You'd think if you are paying top dollar for an education you would be getting what you paid for. Not even close! The school, instructors, everything was a horrible experience. All they want is your money and once you're in, and they have your money, say goodbye to quality education. A joke of a school!"

"West Palm Beach Campus Accelerated program which the three instructors make even more difficult with their bad non caring attitudes. Basically you cover one chapter per day and have a 15 question quiz the next day, which does not allow many mistakes and two test a month. Clinicals like stated in another review is far from home even when locations are close to home."

"This school cost so much money for a degree that doesn't even lisense you! I would not get a psychology degree here let alone any degree here! Please don't waste your time they are very unorganized and it takes weeks to fix any problem you might have."

"Keiser University offers an excellent college experience, professors are graduated from the elite colleges and have a vast experience in their fields. The study programs are innovative offering classes such as e-marketing & creative entrepreneurship."

"Keiser University is a great place to earn a degree, whether it is an associate or bachelor degree, it's a goon investment. The teachers are wonderful and very knowledgeable in their areas. Also, since it's a small school, you feel like a family, you get to know most of the people on a deeper level in comparison to attending a big university."

"With the exception of the professors at this school, I would not recommend Keiser University period. When I first started with them, they were amazing. They made it look like they were 100% on your side and will help you out in any way possible. As I entered into my 3rd semester, that changed! Keiser gives students money to help out if you qualify for allied health. Meaning if you work with a hospital while going to school, they give you 20-25% off of your tuition each semester! BOGUS! All of a sudden they changed their rules and no longer offer that tuition. They are a scam and the only people they look out for are themselves and I'm not the only Nursing student who experienced this issue. They are all about money and only care about that."

"First and foremost, Keiser teachers are actually pretty good. Not all of them, but most were pretty solid. The biggest thing they don't tell you is; they bill you by semester, that is four months. So if you take one class, then decide you want to go somewhere else you owe big time for three classes that you never attended. The second big problem; they will tell you anything to get you to sign up. I went there for 14 months in RT before I did some research and learned the odds of me finding a job were slim to none. I was told they had 95% job placement, there is no truth to that. Just a flat out lie to get there hands on my GI Bill. They say they are "veteran friendly". If friendly means laughing all the way to the bank with your VA check then they are very friendly. Issue three; only about 1/3 of the people that start the RT program actually graduate. This is because it's so accelerated you have to teach your self most the info, while your teacher talks about her weekend and how her cats are doing. Then they guilt you for not being prepared months ago. The x-ray equipment is so old that learning how to use it is pointless. All and all, I could not justify paying 50k to learn on obsolete equipment, from burnt out has been teachers that are more interested in talking about how good they used to be. All that to get a degree in a field that's so flooded that current RTs are trying to get schools to stop pushing RT degrees. Keiser is a degree mill, save yourself some money and heartache and go to your local community college."

"Financial aid is annoying they are always calling because they can't get it right. The program at first gave the impression they had an intense structured program and that is untrue. There is one director and she is also your teacher so she isn't even focused on teaching she throws whatever she cans leave it up to you to understand as if respiratory is second nature. No one is held accountable as to what is the true structure of this program. Just study your but off to past but as far as a real understanding of how to put all this information into clinicals I am lost. Even the labs are a mess nothing works just for show. It sucks I am progressing in this program to still have no real understand. THis programs takes the passion out of what health care should be. Discipline and structure should be implemented in this major"

"Is it more costly than other programs...? Yes. But you also dont have the wait to get into nursing programs like many other schools. Financial aide helped me out tremendously and I was able to use veterans benefits. The classes are accelerated which can be difficult if you miss a day. But the teachers and professors were always willing to work with me and I found them very available after hours to answer questions and offer help. This school is not for everyone. You need to be driven and able to keep up with accelerated classes. If you cant you will be left behind. I have seen many people have to repeat a class only to be dropped from their program because they were unable to obtain the grade. Overall. I would give the school 5 stars if it wasn't for the cost. That is my absolute only complaint."

"Pros: Very easy classes. Guaranteed A and degree if you go everyday and do what your told. Great school for vets, as tuition is pricey and the VA pays for it. Really NO homework. Tests are simple. Most teachers go over the test answers before you take it. Classes require a paper and a speech which you can just throw together. The worst grade I've seen was a B. Cons: They are a business, so expect to pay. Please keep in mind you are buying a degree. If your like me, then not having the hassle to study like the public universities is a huge plus! Once again, you will get a degree and it is very easy, but the downside is they do base themselves off of reputation, so you will find it a challenge to get credits transferred. Lastly, don't expect to be qualified to go into the field you received a degree in. The good news is you will have Keisers reputation, and they do spend time teaching you how to BS your way into the work place."

"I have been at Keiser for over a year and have never been treated so poorly. I have heard that other programs are great but the nursing program is anything but that. There is only 1 teacher that really cares about the students. There is another teacher thay will harass students. She makes sure you will have the worst time there possible. The director is not an advocate for the students, he is aggressive and if you have a complaint he will never be on your side. I will never recommend this school to anyone I know while the nursing program is run this way."

"I find it amusing... Keiser recruited me with the promise of "Personalized education." Now, not even one month in, my math instructor has left me, high and dry, refusing to answer emails and messages, regarding instructions on a math homework assignment.... In the end, I went to the local high school and got better instructions from a high school teacher than I've received from my own instructor.... Also, even though our books REQUIRE us to use calculators to simply help expedite the solving of sub equations, in order to solve the major equations, this instructor has refused to allow us to do so, exposing his weak methodology of teaching. And, to make matters more annoying, he has turned a blind eye to those, who he seems to have personal relationships with, that use their calculators to solve entire problems, creating internal, class tensions.... He is new. However, that seems to only expose a weak hiring criteria, here at Keiser, Orlando..."

"I'd like to say all the negative comments are totally false about the school, I just finished 11/19/15 from Keiser university with a AA in criminal justice and I loved every bit of my experience while at the school. I will say the only complaint I've heard my two years there was mostly the cost of classes, but really what school doesn't cost when you're furthering your education. I will be happily attending my bachelors there and look forward to the 2016-17 year plus my graduation walk in the process. If you're looking for a good school go with Keiser the classes are excelled and you meet a lot of great professors that are more than willing to be a reference for later use on the job application. So with that said go eagles!!! I'm proud of that statement, you'd be too if you stick to and commit to your plan it's all worth it in the end."

"Although I have heard good things about Keiser, the physical therapist assistants I have encountered out in the field have been quite cocky and full of themselves. They do not seem too knowledgeable about what they are doing but they have been very nice people. This program is too short and I feel like it does not provide someone with the experience they need to work out in the field.."

"I am seeing a lot of negative reviews on here about Keiser and it seems like they have been written by students whom either A. Failed out and now blame the school rather than their own lack of effort, or B. Had some sort of issue with financial aid (which isn't fair to give the entire school a negative review). With that being said, the quality of education at Keiser is hit or miss. I had some professors that were very lenient on grading and didn't do a very good job at teaching; however, I have also had some that held high standards and were passionate about teaching. It's important to note that most of their professors also teach at other schools, since the scheduling allows them to-- so a knock on Keiser's professors is also knocking the professors of neighboring institutions. All in all, I have 6 months left before I get by BA and feel like my understanding of business is much greater than what it was prior to my attendance. However, I do wish some of the professors were more strict on grading because I don't want idiots out there in my field representing my institution, thus, facing prejudices myself when attempting to gain employment."

"Positives: accelerated program, close to home. Negatives: Costly, NO JOBS, No help from the staff to find a job, Director is only there for herself as is her staff, they all have favorites, program is hard but staff make it harder, NO STAFF is on the same page, clinicals are hours away and they do not care where you live, again NO JOBS, This degree is NOT worth it, GO INTO NURSING!!! "If you go to this College good luck transferring your credits to a well established University. Not only will you be in debt but your credits will not transfer to FSU, UCF, USF or other established schools. They will only transfer to garbage private schools like Everest. Go to a community college instead. You will save money and plus most of them have agreements with the Universities to automatically accept you after you finish the community college."

"I was excited after researching this school online, when I filled out a contact form as soon as I pressed send my phone started blowing up. 3 to 4 times a day I received a call from 813-402-0423. Every time this number called they never left a voice mail, after a week of this I finally called the number back and it told me to wait for a representative, still not saying what company it was, and then after 12 rings I was connected and found out it was Keiser. Unprofessional for a college to conduct business like this. What happened to an admissions counselor contacting you from the campus you were interested in and not some random telemarketer blowing up your phone? Well this was enough to make me want to go with another school"

"On my personal experience I am on my 5 class and I don't have any problem with the school. The teacjers are great I do not have words to describe how amazing they are but the program is really difficul and tough. And as you go forward it get way more difficult. It is not impossible but not easy neither. You have to study a lot and sometimes you have 2 or 3 tests in a week followed by comps which if you fail the third time they dismiss you from the program that is the only thing that i don't like from Keiser but the rest I think is great"

"Today I was given a "Do Not Admit Slip" by financial aid. I go to handle the situation & I was told that I'm FORBIDDEN to be in class til I do so. Mind you, I pay $50/month just to attend there. & as far as classes go, don't bother wasting your money cause we barely use the textbooks anyway cause it's a month by month institution. There are good resources we use in class to help you in the legal field but hardly any good material is spoken about in class. Mainly gossip about irrelevant things or perhaps maybe what we saw on the news & even then it's only the "favorites" that matter. At one point I'd say some of the staff are prejudice, especially financial aid (they know your money situation to the core) & one dean in particular that is old & aggy. Overall this university is something at one point I was proud to attend but now all they make me feel is to drop out or transfer my credits somewhere else ... Not PSC, they are horrible too! But not as bad as Keiser. Point is, don't waste your time nor gas to go to a place like this .. it was called Keiser Career College to begin with & that's what it should've remained with their high school ways (even now accepting duel enrollment cause nobody wants to go there & they are STRUGGLING to keep their accreditation, I see why). Jobs are promised, doesn't happen... they'll help you write out yoir resume but that's about it. I'm SICK of this college taking advantage of their students .. I would call the department of education but it's not like they listen to us students anymore. Now on a Positive note, to anyone looking to further their future with college .. good for you! I hope you find the right college for you, maybe it's Keiser .. just don't say I didn't warn you based off of my own personal experiences."
